How Does the Secure Project Platform Work?

The Secure Project Platform is a protected environment in which the project owner and the freelancer develop their projects together, communicate and follow the progress of the work. We abbreviate the Secure Project Platform as SPP.

The project owner works with the freelancer knowing that the payment made for a project stage is protected. They follow and assess every step of the project. The amounts paid for each stage are held safely by ProjectWorm until the freelancer delivers the work. Once the project is complete, the project owner reviews the work, gives their approval, and the money is released to the freelancer. Every stage of the project runs this way — step by step, controlled and secure. The project owner pays as they take delivery, and the freelancer is paid as they deliver.

Preparing the project draft

With the Secure Project Platform you can either complete a project in one go or split it into stages, setting an amount for each step in the project draft. We particularly recommend defining large projects in several stages. That way you pay as each stage is finished instead of the whole project price at once, and you get to know how the freelancer works. You can also reclaim your payment at any stage, so you avoid paying out large sums and losing both money and time.

When starting a project on the Secure Project Platform, the project plan — the project draft — must first be created and confirmed by both the project owner and the freelancer. The stage description, the completion date and the amount payable must be entered correctly in this draft. The project draft has the character of a mutually accepted contract. Beyond that, the freelancer and the project owner should also put a legally certified contract in place.

Every detail is a record

Every stage on the Secure Project Platform has the character of a record and can be shared with third parties later if that becomes necessary. These records cover the project draft, all the detail within it, correspondence inside the website and all comparable content.

Once the project draft has been confirmed by both sides, you can run your projects from the operations management panel.
